N1 accident couple’s funeral in Polokwane

Two of the 26 people who died during a multi-vehicle accident on the N1 between Modimolle and Mookgophong last Friday have been laid to rest on Friday.

Transport MEC Makoma Makhurupetje attended the funeral of the couple, at Agape fellowship in Polokwane on Friday.

The Limpopo provincial government will hold a mass funeral for 21 of the deceased at Ben Seraki Stadium in the Blouberg municipality on Saturday.

Three others will be buried during separate funerals at their respective villages.
Spokesperson for the ANC in Limpopo Donald Selamolela has appealed to communities to offer continued support to the families during the difficult time.
